Exploring Spain: A Journey with Gamma Phi

Earlier this summer, a group of Gamma Phi’s had the remarkable opportunity to explore Spain with 18 of our sisters. From the bustling streets of Barcelona to the historic landmarks of Madrid and the vibrant nightlife of Ibiza, they experienced Spain's rich culture, delicious cuisine, and stunning landscapes. This unforgettable trip strengthened their sisterhood bonds and created memories that will last a lifetime.

During their time in Spain, they were immersed in the country’s vibrant culture, with endless opportunities to explore and experience its many wonders. The sisters participated in a hands-on paella-making class and were captivated by the passion and rhythm of a mesmerizing flamenco show, experiences that truly highlighted the spirit of Spain.

Lily Schmidt recalls the incredible time and states, "I have always loved to travel, but traveling with my sisters was a whole new experience. Traveling together has allowed for so many new memories that we share and has ultimately brought me so much closer to them!"

Their culinary adventures continued as they sampled a delightful array of tapas, each bite offering a taste of Spain’s diverse and delicious cuisine. They also had the chance to relax and swim in the crystal-clear waters off the coast of Ibiza, basking in the island's stunning natural beauty.

A visit to a picturesque vineyard allowed them to savor some of Spain's finest wines, while their exploration of historical landmarks and architectural marvels deepened their appreciation of Spain’s rich cultural heritage.

Kelly Codding reflects on the experience saying "Our trip to Spain was absolutely incredible! Having exclusively me and my Gamma Phi sisters touring all of Spain together was the best bonding experience I could have ever imagined. I became close to sisters I had never truly gotten to know and even CLOSER to girls I already felt that I knew so much about. Nothing but amazing memories that will last a lifetime with the girls who I love more than anything!"
