On Novemeber 13th, we hosted our semi formal! Our sisters and their dates gathered at Township for a fun night of dancing and music. We also celebrated our seniors who are graduating this semester. Thank you to Katelyn Murphy and Kacie Manning for all of their hard work this semester, making all of our events possible!

A few weeks ago, our chapter traveled to Orlando for our sisterhood retreat. This year, we spent the day at Universal Islands of Adventure. We had the best time going on rollercoasters and spending time together. Thank you to our Education Vice President Allison Lee for planning the event and making sure everything ran perfectly! It was a fun and magical day!

This week, we had our second date function of the semester! The event was held on Monday night at Painted Lady. Our sisters and their dates had an amazing time. A huge thank you to our Social Chairs, Kacie Manning and Katelyn Murphy, for this amazing event.

This past Friday, we held our first fall philanthropy event of the semester! We held fun events such as pumpkin painting, bouquet making, and candy bags. We also had vendors from the local Tallahassee area selling jewelry, game day pins, and sweet treats. All the money we raised goes towards on philanthropic partner, Girls on the Run. Thank you to our Philanthropy Chair, Chloe Palmatier, and her team for planning this amazing event!

Just last week, our Fams got a little bit bigger! Big Little is a very special part of the new member process. This is when a new member gets paired with an older member of the chapter to serve as their guide as they navigate joining the chapter. New members have spent the past few weeks getting to know potential Bigs through eating meals together at the chapter, going on coffee dates, and going on walks around campus. We recently hosted our families for Parents Weekend! It was a special way to share a glimpse of our sisterhood with our parents and families. We held a Get Game Day Ready event at our chapter facility on Friday evening, where there was pin making and ribbon tying for cowboy boots. Beta Mu recently welcomed home MC 25 during the biggest Panhellenic Recruitment in the history of FSU! These women have exemplified our values of love, labor, learning, and loyalty, and we can't wait for them to join our amazing sisterhood. Moonball is our biggest philanthropy event that we hold every year in the spring. This year we held a volleyball tournament for teams to compete. We also had vendors and food for attendees. Last weekend, Gamma Phi held our annual spring semester parents' weekend! We started the weekend by welcoming our parents into town and hosting a game night on Friday. Our sisters loved getting to show their families around and giving them a glimpse into our amazing sisterhood. This past weekend, we held our annual Girls on the Run 5K. Our sisters had so much fun cheering on these amazing young girls as they crossed the finish line. Gamma Phi Beta's philanthropy is Building Strong Girls. During the year, our sisters hold events to raise funds for our philanthropic partner, Girls On The Run. Amanda Wiboon is a junior apart of MC 22 majoring in marketing. This past fall recruitment, she served as a rho gamma where she helped guide potential new members to find their forever home. She said this was one of the most rewarding opportunities she’s ever been a part of and that she felt so loved running home to her sisters. Siena Hayman is one of our newest members of Gamma Phi. She is a freshman from Boca Raton, Florida. She is studying criminology and is a pre-law student. She chose to attend Florida State because of the amazing criminology program and because she wanted to receive an overall good education.
