Many of our incredible dancers got the chance to represent our sorority at LineDance this past Thursday. LineDance is one of the largest Greek organization events run by Florida State University Panhellenic, hosted at the Donald Tucker Civic Center, with over 6,000 attendees. It is a dance competition between all 17 sorority chapters, as well as help from IFC Fraternities Pi Kappa Alpha, Theta Chi, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Beta Theta Pi, and Pi Lambda Phi, to raise money for a good cause. These events help raise money for 5 beneficiaries including, Florida State University's Victim's Advocacy Program, FSU Food for Thought Pantry, the Unconquered Scholars Program, the Andrea C. Cameron Foundation, and Tallahassee Ballet DanceChance. This event is such an incredible way to create unity and support all throughout our Greek communities here at FSU, while benefiting so many initiatives.
Gamma Phi Beta performed a fabulous F1 themed routine, dancing to songs such as "Sports Car" by Tate McRae, "Vroom Vroom" by Charli XCX, "Ferrari" by James Hype, and many more. You could feel the energy as the crowd roared with excitement during every stunt, formation, and high-energy transition. The dedication, countless hours of practice, and passion our dancers poured into this performance truly shined from start to finish. As a collective , we raised over $11,000, exceeding our goal of raising $10,000 for philanthropy and making this one of our largest fundraisers for LineDance ever!
We are so proud of all of our dancers for putting on such an incredible performance, as well as our Dance Moms and sisters for showing their unwavering support to our dance team! It is always such an honor to cheer on our girls, as well as watch our entire Panhellenic community come together and support such amazing causes.
